I bought these for my 11 year old who is playing her first year of club volleyball. She loves them. They are a thicker material, comfortable and not as big as the ones she had before. If needed, she would buy another pair of these.

My tall, thin 15 yr old loves these knee pads, and they are the only ones she will wear on her bony legs after years of trying others. I like them because they wash well, and hold up longer than those she's tried from other popular vball manufacturers. Don't think you can go wrong here.

got these for my daughter, she loves the fit, the protection, however she does say they are hot and get kind of uncomfortabll damp from sweat.

My daughter's team uses these knee pads for their school and travel basketball teams as well as their volleyball team. She has had the same pair for years and even though she finally did wear holes in them they still are extremely effective in protecting her knees. I could not find this size anywhere else!

Being a young or older athlete you must protect the knees. The bubble knee pads are the best way to go. I have used these since high school. I am 46 and have never had knee injuries. You can slide on them and hit pretty hard on your knees. I don't ever remember having problems. It is personal preference. I have thin legs and did order the largest size. Good luck all.

This is the second pair of knee pads that I have bought for my teenager. The first pair she used for years, until she out grew them. There was nothing wrong with them after all that time and abuse.
