She wears a brace on both ankles, they provide the stability and support she needs. These braces are lightweight and easy to put on, fits in her shoes with no problem.

I play competitive volleyball - though I am a bit older than I should be to do so... so I have to have ankle support - these looked like a cheaper alternative to Active Ankles - and that they are...not bad for stability but they really rubbed on my ankles - not enough padding - might try extra thick socks next time i wear them.

I use these in indoor and outdoor volleyball 2-4 times a week. I don't see any real difference between these and the Active ankle. The pads may wrinkle a little easier - just takes an extra second to make sure they're flat. Once the game starts I don't notice them at all. Nice and light.

my daughter uses these for High School Volleyball. She had another brand of braces that were bulkier and broke. These are better, she says she can move better.

These are lightweight yet very supportive. I did have to sew the velcro on tighter.

i play college volleyball and basketball and my coaches make ankle braces mandatory. ive never worn ankle braces when i played but these ankle braces are so light and i usually forget im wearing them. these have saved my ankles from severe ankle injuries many times.

I needed support for mild drop foot and this brace fits the bill perfectly. Transfers easily from shoe to shoe as well.

I play on a volleyball team and this protects my ankles from rolling. I would suggest any volleyball player use this. One girl on my team didn't have one on one of her ankles, and, unfortunately, landed wrong and is now on crutches.

I play volleyball year-round and these truly fit the bill. They are incredibly lightweight yet very comfortable and offer superior ankle support. The only drawback is the difficulty in locating replacement foam pads.
