Wore this brace after I rolled my ankle. It provides great support and does its job very well, but is a bit bulky and at first, very intimidating to put on; there are tons of straps and cross-straps and it's just a huge headache. After the first time though, it's perfectly fine to use.

My only problem with this product is what i already mentioned, it's a little bulky and may stretch our your shoe a little bit/not fit in completely if it's a tight shoe to begin with.

Overall though, it is very legitimate and would recommend it to a friend.

My daughter rolled her ankle in highschool sports. She had another type of active ankles on at the time of injury. After healing from torn ligaments with this sprain. I wanted to find the best active ankles. We switched to this type and haven't had any problems since. They are comfortable and provide her with the support she needs to help prevent injuries. She is planning in continuing her Vball career in college and we will continue to use this product.

Over my many years of playing volleyball competitively, I have injured both of my ankles several times. I have used several different kinds of braces, from cheap canvas to hard Active Ankles. Most braces are uncomfortable, wear out easily, and limit movement...particularly vertical.
These braces are comfortable, and don't seem to affect any movement. They also seem like they'll last quite a long time.

My only complaint is that they are pretty bulky. I'm the prima donna kind of player that likes to look good in a uniform, so that annoyed me at first. But then I grew up and got over it.

i play volleyball competitively 3-4 times a week. i am a middle blocker and am constantly blocking, hitting and transitioning. these braces are excellent because they combine the support of an rigid brace, and the comfort of a laceup. i started wearing them after i rolled both of my ankles within a few months span, and wearing them, i will atest to the fact that they provide excellent support and great comfort

These braces are great! They are very comfortable to wear they stabalize my ankles wonderfully and I really don't notice them much when I am playing.
They do have a bit of weight to them but it is easy to get use to and after a while your body builds up strength to fight the greater resistance of the brace (So yay more leg strength = higher vertical ;). I did find one thing I didn't really like about the brace and it was a strap that is supposed to help with arch support. For me the optional strap was very uncomfortable and cut off the circulation to my feet the more I moved. BUT this strap is completely optional and you can take it off and put it depending on your own preferences so I will not hold it against the ankle braces :P. So overall this product is great and I will definately be repurchasing them when I need to.

I bought these for my daughter when the Avtive ankle brace didn't work out for her. the Mizuno Brace gave her the support needed without the restriction of movement.
