HexPad technology is the new standard in sports protection, and features independently positioned Hex shaped pads that deliver unsurpassed comfort and protection for enhanced performance. These volleyball shorts offer superior protection for players who find themselves spending a lot of their time diving on the floor.

The McDavid HexPad Women's Volleyball Shorts feature a brand new low-rise design and 1" fold over waistband for ultimate comfort. The included HydraVent hDc moisture management technology also helps transport moisture away from the body to the outer layer of the shorts, keeping the body cool and dry at all times.

        I bought these shorts along with the nfinity and underarmour shorts with the hip pads. I by far prefer the nfinity shorts but these are not bad either. (the undetarmour ones were terrible.) Too bad vbcentral no longer carries the nfinity shorts; I actually came back to buy a pair and found that they were discontinued! I will not be buying these again because I much prefer the nfinity shorts but they are not bad. Re: referral, I would recommend these shorts but would first recommend the nfinity ones.

        The HexPad shorts have helped to cut down on hip pointer injuries. Used in combination with a jelly insert under the shorts really helps to protect the hip bones.
