New for 2009, the Asics GEL-Sensei 3 Men's Volleyball Shoes build on the tradition of past Asics GEL-Sensei shoes with a new design and updated colors.
The Asics GEL-Sensei 3 is Asics’ premier volleyball shoe. It features Asics’ Top-of-the-line Impact Guidance System (I.G.S). The I.G.S. contains a linked componentry that enhances the natural gait from foot strike to toe off. The GEL-Sensei is the only shoe from Asics that features the GEL Cushioning System in both the forefoot and rearfoot. This Silicone-based GEL is strategically placed at high-impact areas in order to absorb and relieve shock along the foot. These volleyball shoes also feature Asics’ advanced PHF (Personal Heel Fit) technology. The PHF is a memory foam lining that molds to the foot over time, which creates a personalized fit as well as drastically improving performance.
The Asics GEL-Sensei 3 features a Biomorphic Fit Upper material, which provides volleyball players with a more personalized fit, along with enhanced durability. Its Solyte Midsole Material is lighter than Asics Standard EVA and SpEVA , and provides for enhanced cushioning and durability. Its well-known NC Rubber Sole continues to provide volleyball players with optimum traction while making forward and lateral movements around the court. These shoes look amazing! and they are very comfortable and were made jsut for me! slightly lighter than the other asics shoes.
but remember that asics shoes are half a size bigger, and ive already owned a pair of asics so i ordered half a size smaller and its perfectly awesome! YESSS SOOO GOOD!!!
And by the way, these shoes retail for 120 everywhere else but here so get em fast!

I bought this shoe becuase it looked really cool online. Indeed they are really cool shoes but they are one of the heaviest shoes I have ever worn. I wore it for two tournaments and cant stand them. I bought new shoes and these one are just sitting in the closet.

I use the shoes exclusively for playing badminton in a school gymnasium. Playing badminton requires a lot of quick movements. Support and grip are very important, as well as shock absorption, which is the key reason I went with Asics' gel construction. So far I am very pleased with the shoes.

Asics make great shoes but this is too heavy. It dug into my heel and my setter told me that he could hear me when I made my approach. That's not a good thing. It's an expensive clunker.

I have been using it for some weeks. Shoes look modern, attractive, but they're HEAVY. You just need compare them to Mizuno'es. In addition, there are great shoes, I'm pleased wearing them, but i would prefer Mizuno brand:)

These are great VB shoes. Work perfect for me playing 3-4 times per week. Great grip, support and shock absorption. I have switched to these from Mizuno's Wave Tornado 4 and I like it much better.
