The Asics GEL-Rocket 5 Women's Volleyball Shoes are the 5th generation of the popular GEL-Rocket Women's Volleyball Shoes by Asics and feature a fresh, new look for 2010 while retaining all of the features that make this one of the most popular volleyball shoes on the market. For the past 5 seasons, Asics has continually improved the GEL-Rocket line by decreasing the weight of the shoe while retaining the structural integrity and cushioning properties volleyball players have come to depend on. The GEL-Rocket 5 continues the tradition by combining the traction of gum rubber with the lightweight support, which Asics is known for. The new GEL-Rocket 5 features the GEL Cushioning System found in the forefoot, which helps attenuate shock during impact phase and provides ultimate cushioning and support.
Asics has also included a Trusstic System found in the midsole, which helps reduce the weight of the sole while retaining the structural integrity of the shoe.
