I found this shoe somewhat through the backdoor. I had been looking for a new pair of Asics trailrunners. Been wearing Asics for 10+ years and prefer the fit over other brands (particularly the snug fit around the achilles). Hadn't seen any with my fit (I have high arches, so I need good cushioning, but less stability and motion control) that I like (white shoes must be back in) and was beginning to get frustrated. But I happenned upon a pair of Asics Rocket 5 volleyball shoes with a nice fit. I play vball couple times a week but never had actual volleyball shoes (or even thought about them existing). I liked the look and general fit, but they didn't have my size. After searching around online I not only discovered Volleyball Central, but a selection of other Asics vball shoes. I ended up purchasing the Gel-1130V and love them. Length is spot on with usual Asics sizing for running shoes, so easy to buy online. Typical great Asics fit with snug achilles and excellent gel cushion. They do seem a bit snug in width compared to what I am used to, so I would consider a wider size in the future. [...]

Great shoe. I use it for racquetball and it works wonderfully. Runs a little small. I got 1/2 size larger than normal.

I've had these shoes for 2 years now and i wear them a ton for indoor volleyball and also training on the track. I love the appearance and how easily they were broken in. I recommend these.

I use these shoes playing volleyball and they have really helped. The grip on it works even when gyms aren't clean too. I haven't found any bad things from this shoe. I can't say how long the grip will last cause I play volleyball about 3-4 times a week.

I was looking for a good gum rubber sole racquetball shoe. Unfortunately I have a narrow foot and finding a shoe that I don't "swimm" in is tough. After reading some comments here about the shoe fitting tight, I thought this might be the shoe! So far so good. The shoe fits my foot very well; a little loose in the toe box, but from there back it fits great. I hope this shoe holds up better than some others I have tried. The construction looks good and I am moving around the court effortlessly. The light weight is a big plus.

Picked these shoes up for volleyball. Had been wearing basketball shoes for the ankle support, but decided to give these a try. Great traction and cushion. Much better than my basketball shoes. Haven't found anything to complain about, just a really good shoe.

I buy the shoes for a professional team I am training. The Asics gel shoes on one side, protect the feet with the cushioning and support the arch, so that the feet are enveloped in comfort and do not feel tired even after long hours of training. On the other side the shoes have attractive design and colors combination and thus look very stylish. My team and I love the shoes.

I am a 60 year old, lifelong volleyball player. These shoes are the ones that work best for my 3x per week of rather competitive volleyball. I had gotten a pair of Mizuno Wave 5's but ordered my second pair of 1130v's within a month after getting the Mizunos.
