I have had the Active Ankle Braces for about 5 years and have not had to replace or purchase any parts of them. Despite the mildly higher than average price they are DEFINITELY worth the price. I am an avid volleyball player, playing multiple times per week for multiple hours. They are very durable and create great stabilization for both preventative and treatment of ankle injuries. They have last this long and I continue to use them with no problems. The only part I have had wear down a little bit is the heel pad. But after 5 years that is to be expected. Enjoy the product and continue to compete injury free.

I bought a pair for my Goddaughter that wears a size 8 shoe and a pair for my daughter that wears a size 5. The small size was a good fit for the size 8 shoe but too big for the size 5 shoe. Additionally, I recommend you take a brace with you to try on shoes. These braces worked well in some shoes and not so well in others.

I use the product during volleyball because it keeps my ankles from rolling during jumps and digs. Hard to use the first couple of times until my shoe formed to the brace and the brace to my ankle shape. It left blisters at first.
I asked my daughter to help with survey since these were for her.

I sprained my ankle when I was young and ever since then its always been prone to being sprained easily. Sometime even just walking down the street. But I love volleyball, and I bought it because everytime I jump up to block I'm scared that I might sprain my ankle landing. So I bought these.

And their an added support and insurance.

This was, by far, one of the most common ankle braces around when it comes to volleyball so I decided to give it a chance. I bought a brace for each ankle and, honestly, never really felt comfortable with them! I thought the brace felt too rigid and plastic. Other than that, they worked great. So I think I'll give a lace-up brace a chance next time...

My title states what i mean. Better safe than sorry. Buy these before you sprain your ankle. Trust me, if you sprain your ankle, you'd gladly pay hundreds of dollars just to make the pain go away, but sadly you cant. Money can buy you pain meds but not new ankles.

I sprained my ankle years ago and have been wearing different ankle braces but i needed an upgrade. Active ankles are a little cumbersome to put on but they offer no hinderance while exercising. Your ankles are made to go up and down but not really side to side. Thats how injuries happen. So get these, wear them every time you play volleyball or basketball, and stay worry free.

As for me, I play volleyball about 10 hours a week so these are a must.

Lightweight and does the job. No ankle injuries! The only con is that the replacement pads tear and now both need to be replaced.

My granddaughter is twelve years old and currently playing club volleyball. After one of her teammates serious hurt her ankle it was suggested using braces. I heard these were probably the best, although quiet expensive.
